The Friends of Mirror Lake Library is hosting Paint the Library 2012! A Plein Air Painting Festival, Saturday October 20, 2012 at the library. 30 artists will vie for $1000 in award prizes for Best of Show, an Award of Excellence, and the Friends Favorite Award. We will be presenting lectures on the history of the library and the surrounding area, St. Petersburg’s first cultural hub, and have a display of books on Plein Air painting and art.
